MURIKAF’s Drama Actors Light Up the 11th RSOG Annual Scientific Conference

At the Kigali Convention Center, the 11th Annual Scientific Conference of the Rwanda Society of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (RSOG) took on a different spark when Murikaf’s Drama actors stepped on stage with a play on women’s and maternal health.

The two-day conference, themed Transforming Women’s Health in Rwanda: Promoting Equity, and Sustainability,” gathered experts, researchers, and health professionals from across the country.

Amid scientific discussions and research presentations, Murikaf’s performance stood out. Dressed in everyday attire, the actors dramatized the challenges of postpartum care and broader barriers women face in health services turning complex statistics into stories that touched the heart.

The hall followed the performance in silence, with some participants visibly moved by the emotional scenes. The closing act left the audience reflecting deeply on their role in advancing women’s health and equity.

Through such performance, Murikaf continues to prove that art is not only entertainment -it is also a tool for awareness, dialogue, and change.
